Wow. Thanks so much to everyone who came out on Saturday for our grand opening. It was literally a riot. Without the anger and destruction.
We worked out, we swam in the lake and then we partied our livers right into retirement thanks to Tree Brewing and Dukes Cider.
We met some really cool new people and enjoyed getting to know some of our regulars a little better. This is a cheesy thing to write but its true so whatever...
If I had to give the party a theme song it would be ''Can You Feel The Love Tonight''.
And yes. I did feel the love.
Saturday and the days leading up to the grand opening were insane and chaotic but at the same time some of the best times of my life. There were more than a few tender moments when people decided to confess their love for us. That was nice.
Hearing what people had to say about what we are doing with New Wave Fitness made all of the hard work, long days and sleepless nights worth it. Knowing that we are making such a positive impact on so many peoples lives is really the best feeling in the world. So thank you to everyone who took the time to tell me what they thought, for all of the cards, emails and text messages (that I wasn't getting but I am getting now).
Someone who would prefer to remain anonymous ended up winning the Okanagan Lifestyle Challenge. ''She'' completed EVERY SINGLE CHALLENGE so she definitely earned it. Tanya, Steve, Jenner and the Saras were all fierce competitors and all deserve a quick shout out for their efforts. We are DEFINITELY going to do this again, it was such an awesome event and so much fun to see you all out there going for it.
After all that has led up to last weekend, from the start of the renovations to surviving the fallout from the big day, it has been a wild ride. My brain is basically mush (my liver too), so I'm going to leave this post short and sweet.
I really just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart, from all of us at New Wave, for all of your support.
We are beyond so excited.
