Well apart from our brand new space....
Pretty much everything is new.
We have new spin bikes. New rowing machines. New surf boards (yes). Kettlebells.. Dumbbells.. Skipping ropes... Pullup bands.... Step / jump boxes. All. New. Everything.
And to keep that new car smell and make sure that our workouts are continually kept fresh, we are adding a new piece of equipment to the program every month. So it's kind of like Christmas. But more often. And without the family, alcohol and food.
There are new class times that will stay the same every month (6am / 715am / 915am / 530pm / 730pm) ---> except for when we add more new class times... Like for example in October we are adding a 12:00 noon class so you can come shred on your lunch hour or sleep in if you are so fortunate. We also have future plans to add a 430pm class time but that's another story for another day.
While its true that the class times will stay the same, the class types will change with the seasons. Cause variety is the spice of life and we believe that life should be spicy. For example.... Right now on Wednesday we have a class called Cardiyoga. In October we might change Wednesdays class to Surf Core. Or Flow Yoga. Or whatever we feel like changing it to........ Something sweet to keep you on your toes, loving your workouts and stoked to come in.
We have a great new exciting policy on Friday nights; after the 530pm class we invite you to stick around for a beverage. Cause TGIF right?!?!?
Saturdays we have a new class called the Greater Good where each month we are raising $$$ for a charity. This month we are accepting donations for the Women's Shelter. The workout is at 9:00am and is different every weekend depending on which side of bed coach woke up on, how many people show up and the way the wind is blowing. Saturdays are one of many ways that we are giving back to the wonderful community that we live in. That and high fives and bum squeezes....
Sundays are an open gym - which means there are no structured classes but you can come drop in between 9am and 11am and do whatever you want (free for members, regular drop in rates for everybody else). Ride a spin bike, pump some iron, practice your skipping. Whatever makes you feel good. New Wave is your oyster.
Hmmmm. What else is new....
We have a new trainer. Maddison Kaneda. Who is a fucken babe. If you don't already know her, you should. Cause she's fucken awesome. Seriously. You can ask anybody who knows her. They'll tell you. Awesome. She has her Human Kinetics degree, is a Moksha Yoga Instructor (so is Roz now too!) and her side pony swagger is off the charts.
Our new kids room, where we offer childcare every day of the week at 915am is new.... $5 per kid gets the little people an all access pass to play while you get your swell on.

It's only natural with all the newness going around that we have an all new vibe. The philosophy we built New Wave on is that working out should be fun. That every day should feel like Friday. That our space is your space and that you are like family (or at least a really good friend).
